Rollout of Backup & Restore Solutions

Summary

We implemented state-of-the art Backup & Restore solutions within our customer’s manufacturing environment. Therefore, we provided support in questions of project and rollout management throughout the whole implementation.

The Situation

The customer’s manufacturing environment (including 135 local production sites) was lacking Backup & Restore Solutions. At most of the sites, there were no standardized Backup & Restore solutions in place. Therefore, the goal was to implement an easy to apply Backup & Restore solution. These solutions are advantageous as they are tailored for the manufacturing environment, and therefore, highly time- and cost-efficient. ten4 was responsible for the entire project- and rollout management and collaborated with the technical implementation partner.

• Operating Model Definition: Established a standardized operating model to streamline Backup & Restore operations across all locations.
• Service Design for Backup & Restore: Defined a robust Backup & Restore service design to ensure sustainable service management and compliance with recovery objectives.
